When the Billy Van Heusen Team began, it started as a father-son venture where Billy Sr, having been in the industry since 1972, introduced Billy Jr. to the real estate industry so they could share responsibilities and play to each other's strengths. Billy Sr. became more involved with buyers while Billy Jr. focused on sellers.
It wasn't long after they were in business together that Donna Fejfar joined the team as a licensed assistant, transaction coordinator extraordinaire, and advisor to Senior and Junior in both business and personal affairs. While they were out with clients, Donna made sure the documents were taken care of, contractors were following through with their responsibilities, and clients knew what was happening when and why.
As they worked with an increasing number of clients, it became clear another person was needed in the office to support the team and clients so everyone could be their best in their roles on the team. After a few people joined the team temporarily, Lavinia Goodloe joined the team in 2018 and stayed on as the director of operations.
In 2023, seeing an opportunity to better serve clients and support the team, Lavinia obtained her real estate license and now acts as a broker in addition to supporting the team. Ali Van Heusen, Billy Jr's wife, joined the team as a broker associate as well having obtained a real estate license at the same time. Today, the Billy Van Heusen Team is comprised of 5 individuals, all holding a real estate license and able to help clients with their buying or selling needs. While they work as a team, they are all very different, providing with the opportunity for conversations about the Broncos, hobbies, polo, Italy etc... all while meeting individual needs.
The Billy Van Heusen Team cares, they take their clients' best interest to heart, work tirelessly, and are fortunate to call the majority of their clients friends after all these years. Always grateful to serve their clients, they look forward to many more years to come now that the team has grown even further.
