The community has two pool areas, one of the north side and one of the south side offering a slide, diving boards, kiddie pool and lap pool. Stonegate also offers tennis courts, an activity center and a community center complete with a fireplace and kitchen for residents’ personal functions.
Every summer there are concerts in the parks, summer movie nights held outside on a large movie screen, and a huge community garage sale that hundreds of homes participate in. Summer is also the season for the Stonegate Stingrays, a neighborhood swim team that ranks very high locally. At Christmastime there is a meet and greet with Santa Claus, and individual neighborhoods within the Stonegate community hold social gatherings throughout the year.

There are plenty of retail establishments right around the Stonegate community. King Soopers grocery store anchors one of the main shopping areas with restaurants, professional services, and automotive services. Park Meadows mall, an upscale retail resort, is a mere 10 minute drive from the Stonegate area. Also, nearby is the Ridgegate area of Lone Tree with numerous dining and shopping areas.
